In the event of a natural disaster, it pays to “be ready.” As everyone knows by now, our Rolling Greens Citizens Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) has disbanded. So, the Rolling Greens Homeowner’s Association has stepped in and developed a plan on how Rolling Greens can deal with a natural emergency. While we all hope and pray that we never need to test the metal of this plan, we can all agree that it is better to prepare for it now than not to know what to do IF it ever should happen.

These numbers should be used in the event of a “Mandatory Evacuation Order” – when you register, it is for the Officials to know where you are and that you need help in getting out of harms way.
NEWBY MANAGEMENT has an “Incident Command System” which will notify our communications Coordinator, who will in turn notify the appropriate committees to respond to our residents via “Bull Horns”, e-mails, website (www.rghoa.net), or phones in the case of Mandatory Evacuation Order.

There will be at least 3 self-contained travel trailers with generators and with food items. After the Storm, Sanitation & Debris will be addressed by Gary Underwager and volunteers.
All our Officers have 2-way radios for communication when the storm has passed. Our Committees will coordinate with Management on exactly how to respond for recovery. REMEMBER— YOUR PRIORITY IS YOU!

FLASHLIGHTS & BATTERIES, CHARGED CELL PHONE, POCKET KNIFE FIRST AID KIT, MEDICATIONS, WATER, BLANKETS, INSECT REPELLENT CRACKERS, ENERGY BARS, IDENTIFICATION, PRESCRIPTIONS, TOILETRIES.GAS IN THE CAR, CASH ON HAND.
